Yesterday was my bday and I celebrated by going shopping with a friend. My husband had to work a shift at the hospital from 11am to 11pm. When he got back though, he brought some mint chocolate chip ice cream and I opened my present. Not a typical bday, but I can't complain. Plus, I got some really cute stuff when shopping!

ReplyDeleteAww, happy birthday! Sounds like you had a pretty great day, even though it wasn't typical one. Can't wait to hear about what you bought! I spent my last birthday (my 30th) in Manhattan! My husband and I had brunch at Pastis, walked along Highline Park, went to the MOMA and Henri Bendel and had dinner at Babbo. It was amazing :)

ReplyDeleteWe went to the Mall of America for my birthday this year. You probably remember me blogging about it, but it was so fun. Much more of an overall vacation than just a celebration of my birthday, which was even better.

I was super bummed on my past birthday because I had to work from 8:00-4:00. I had class from 4:00-5:15. I had ANOTHER class from 6:00-8:50. I was gone the entire day! However, Mr. A was able to take me to dinner between the two classes, and my family and I celebrated on the Sunday before. So it was okay. :)
