Like many other people, I'm a shoe-aholic. (add that to my list of addictions...) And, my husband has finally caught on that if I'm having a bad day, a trip to DSW really does wonders on my mood. In fact, here's a real thing he said to me, "I'm so glad I know an easy way to make you happy. But also disappointed that you're such a stereotype."
Whatevs. I'm not embarrassed.
...but here's some evidence that he's right:
They didn't even all fit in the photo! (missing: boots on the bottom tier)
Well, this particular trip to the (giant) shoe store netted me a new addition to the shoe family:
Gorgeous, no?
I will love them forever and ever.

Oh my goodness I'm just the same. I love shoes and I'm happy to pay anything for a great pair! Lately I've been wearing ballet flats a lot (simply because walking around in Fiji is a nightmare in heels - uneven pavements etc) but I miss my heels! Love this post!
ReplyDeleteYes, beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day!

Shoes = instant cure for a bad mood. If the deposition I'm taking does not go well today, I'm headed straight to the shoe store. I love the pair you got :)
ReplyDeleteA fabulous new pair of shoes makes everything better - loving these beauties! :)
ReplyDeletehaha. Aren't we all! It's also a stereotype that men act like babies when they have to go shoe shopping with you. So...how does he like them apples? ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove the little heel on those. I can't handle uber tall shoes.
I'm not a shoaholic! If anything, I dread buying shoes....too many options and rarely do I find something that works with my fussy feet.
ReplyDeleteDSW is the greatest place on earth!!! Love it and I love your new purchase.
ReplyDeleteOooh, I love them! I love DSW so much. Hmmm, i should take a trip there this weekend! ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday, and congrats on your new cute shoes!
Retail therapy is the best kind-and hey, it's cheaper than real therapy!

For me it's purses and lip gloss!! I can't have enough of them!!!
ReplyDeletethose heels are very pretty!! haha I love shoes but I love bags more, I can't justify spending over $100 on a pair of heels but I can spending $1000 over a bag LOL
ReplyDeleteFor me it's not just shoes. All retail therapy works for me.
ReplyDeletei sooo wish we had a dsw here, but we definitely don't. i made mark bring me home a pair of shoes from there though :)
ReplyDeleteReally lovely, and so classic!
ReplyDeleteshoes are not so bad an addiction to have ;) and your latest pair are super fab.
ReplyDeleteOh my...your shoes are SO well-organized! Mine are in a pile on the floor of my closet! Yours appear to be grouped neatly together in bundles.
ReplyDeletei love that place and those shoes are gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteThe last pair if nice. http://www.fashionmechic.com/
ReplyDeleteShoe-aholic is an understatement for most of us addicts!
ReplyDeleteugh - i wonder why i didn't inherit this? both my sisters are into shoes...and every female friend i have is too. i'm not. maybe it's because i'm a podiatrist and spend my life in ridiculously comfortable Dansko clogs??
ReplyDeletefrom the knees down i will forever be a fashion "don't."
Oooh...love those sassy new shoes. ;)
ReplyDeleteI like seeing shoes, but I'm not a shoe-a-holic. However, I can definitely appreciate a nice pair when they belong to someone else!
Hooray for new shoes! Hope they look hot on the new job!!!
ReplyDeleteI am the SAME way. New shoes always make me happy. You never have to worry about if you're having a "fat" day because shoes always fit and look good!
