Big Happenings - A Graduation

Well, remember when I said I needed to take a "real life" break?  Well, one of the many things that happened while I was out was that my husband graduated from medical school.


The sad fact about indoor graduations is that it is impossible to get a good picture.  Do any of you have a point and shoot that takes a decent picture under far away and dark conditions?

Anyway, in addition to the official invitations that the medical school gave us to send out, I also printed up some announcements to send to family and close friends.


I'm very proud of my husband for making it through these four years relatively unscathed.  Tomorrow is his birthday as well.  A lot of celebrating to be done in our lives!

  4. This is a huge accomplishment!! Congratulations to him. Both of you should be very proud.

    I have the most difficult time getting good pictures at indoor graduations. I got some pretty crappy ones at Mr. A's last month, and I had to do a LOT of editing before they were acceptable.

  6. Aw, congrats to him! The only reason I have good indoor photos of my law school graduation is that my uncle is a location manager & brought his professional camera. All the ones from "normal people" cameras were totally atrocious.

    Thank you for commenting on my post about workshops! You are right. I am totally passionate about photography, and that has taken me a long way so far. I think I might keep doing that for a while longer. and..the workshopa are quite expensive yes!

  18. aww congratulations! i graduated 2 weeks ago from my master's program and our ceremony was held outside on a rooftop in san francisco. the photos turned out great, but i dont think ive ever been so cold in all my life!
