Mine doesn't look exactly like that but close. The thing that's super cool about this is that it's pretty much indestructible. That makes it perfect for when I'm traveling. My friends and I are going camping this fall and it's going to be my "look cute while camping" bag. And I was thinking, when the time eventually comes for babies, wouldn't it make fabulous diaper bag?
SO! then a windfall came: Lara Serbin, founder of Sam Harvey, sent me ANOTHER bag. Before I show it to you, let me tell you two things I love about Lara/Sam Harvey:
1) Lara is an architect AND bag designer. That gives this lawyer-to-be hope that it is possible to be successful at two passions.
2) I love love LOVE that these bags are made by a team in Arizona. I'm a big proponent of supporting American made products.
Here it is!
Isn't that so fun? It's called Sachet Noir (check out that link - there are details about the bag's Kenyan inspiration). In this pic, I carried it while wearing a pretty plain outfit because the bag has so many, "Look at me!" details. Also, the quality is so obvious. You can tell the bag will never lose its shape. And did I mention the interior is silk?
My new handbag crush? This clutch:

Buy it here.
So, all in all, Sam Harvey bags rock. Lara Serbin rocks. Two brand new, super cute bags rock.
ps. Is anyone in BK going to Atlantic Antic this weekend?? If you are, see if you can pick me out of the crowd!
